January 2013

Unsolicited accolades:
"Fantastic... Some of the best work I've ever seen from you, Josh... And I've known you for 27 years." - Susan Goddard, Friend and Photographer.

"Josh has some really beautiful pieces. I want three from the new collection but alas, my pocket book says no..." - Mike Sophir, Owner, f5 Strategies.

Christmas 2012

Made lots of Christmas Cards / Original Art for friends and family... Perhaps inspired by Christmas spirit? (Yes, I know you know what type of spirit we're talking about.) Merry Christmas. Ho Ho Ho.

Reminiscing...

"Out of Eden"

Came across this digital image of a piece I sold back in 1998... Good to reminisce sometimes on what you were doing, why you were doing it and getting some space from it... maybe why you sometimes keep coming back to it...

June 2011

"Humpty's got legs... And he knows how to use them."

May 2011

HDTV Comes Calling. Woo. Hoo. Purchased art for their Colorado Green Home. Looks fantastic. Anyone want to buy it for me?

Living Room - Art hides TV.

Anyone who'd like an original Josh Armijo, please contact me via email. The art in the house is spoken for but there's plenty more.

April 2010

Leonardo Da Vinci, born 1452, April 15th... Love his

rendition of St. John the Baptist. That is one good-looking inspiration. There has been much commentary over the years regarding the facial similarity between John and Mona (Lisa)... (Man, Mona by itself just isn't that sexy...)

And also if Mona Lisa was a self-portrait... You decide people. What do you think? Either way, the man, the artist, the philosopher was BRILLIANT in every way.

March 2010

Does anyone remember the movie, "The Day The Earth Stood Still"? Does this image not remind you of the robot, "Gort"?

White background or black? What do you think? Comments welcome.
